The Butterfly Effect - capsule collection
Graduation project consisting of three ensembles, this project reflects my process from the start to the end. Creating a collection with the restrictions of a lockdown pandemic has been a major learning experience. Adapting to change and making the best out of what we have got, while staying positive about the situation has been my learning curve here.
I brought together the concept of sustainability and the butterfly effect in this collection. The point where the two seem to meet is - the smallest of our actions have an unpredictable consequence in the future. When it comes to climate and social change, we live in denial and keep on our old habits because we think that we are only a speck in the universe and it does not matter what we do.
